Q&A on Phoenix Mars Lander today at Globe and Mail online

Thursday, May 29, 2008

There's going to be a Q&A at globeandmail.com today with the principal investigator of the Canadian part of the mission (the weather station that was sent along), so keep an eye on the page. Oh, and somebody there needs to learn the difference between its and it's:

(emphasis on "it's" mine of course)

When NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander made it's near-perfect descent to the surface of the Red Planet on Sunday, it was carrying with it a Canadian-made weather station which has already started sending home reports. (In case you're wondering, it's sunny with clear skies, and a high of minus 30.) As the Canadian Space Agency says, the maple leaf has landed on Mars!
