What if the editor from Rajanews was in charge of other newspapers throughout history?

Thursday, August 13, 2009

If you've been following the events in Iran you've probably noticed that the idiot editor from Rajanews.com published an article condemning Majlis speaker Larijani for phoning Mousavi on the day of the election and congratulating him, an attempt to condemn him for doing so thanks to his "access to firsthand and classified information and news that he should not have disclosed". Basically, a "Larijani can't be trusted with the tools of the state" kind of argument.

However.

Apparently no one there gave thought to the idea that an article like that would only serve to show that the election was rigged, if those that had firsthand access to classified information would be those that came to the conclusion that Mousavi won.

Makes you wonder what other sorts of "scandals" this editor would have come up with throughout history if he had been in charge. Here are three off the top of my head.
