Found this in Spanish today, and a Dutch article can also be read here.

Despite the historical rivalries and frictions between neighboring countries, interest among Netherlanders in learning German is rising notable, according to data collected by the affiliate of the Goethe-Institut in the Netherlands, published today in the Dutch newspaper "De Volkskrant". Although English remains the foreign language most studied and Spanish a very popular language, the number of Dutch students studying German is increasing considerably. According to data from the institute, there were 2,200 students registered, an increase of 10 percent compared to 2010 and double the number ten years ago.
