Learn Lithuanian through music: Tu atnešei šviesą by Andrius Mamontovas and Jurga Šeduikytė

Found a nice song in Lithuanian yesterday called Tu atnešei šviesą (you brought the light).



I've added the English lyrics to the Lithuanian lyrics I found here. Note that if you're going to copy and paste the lyrics from there that there are two typos on that page: Sš should be Aš and apgulė in the first part should be apgaulė.

The English lyrics come from here, another video using the song as background music for a video by a group of people that seem to have gone to Lithuania to learn the music as well as to learn to dance on the street. Sure, why not?

Etymologically the most interesting word there is probably pasaulis (the world), which means under (pa) the sun (saulė).
