Discussion on the future of NASA on the front page of Daily Kos right now

Tuesday, November 11, 2008

Now that the election's over sites like Daily Kos can discuss subjects as esoteric as Ceres.

This is the best part about winning an election, the period afterward where now that victory has been achieved it's time to turn to policy and what the country is going to look like over the next few years, and that means that sites like Daily Kos are able to take some time to put a post on the role of NASA right on the front page.

To give an idea just how huge a site like Daily Kos is, when I first saw the link on the front page it had a bit under 20 responses, when I started this post it had 27, after reloading now it has...49. Wikipedia claims over half a million visitors to the site every day.

I've added a comment about Ceres.

P.S. comments now at 61 as I hit the publish post button.

Edit: One day later, the thread has pretty much run its course and the comments now stand at 431.
