Benedict XVI's Latin is very easy to understand

Interesting piece here in Portuguese on the importance of Latin in the Vatican, where the Italian reporter Giovanna Chirri was the first to hear about the upcoming resignation of the Pope due to being able to understand his Latin spoken in a ceremony the previous day where he remarked that he had "important news for the future of the church, and that he was getting old".
