Planetary Society writeup on Chang'e 3 lander

This writeup by the Planetary Society on the Chang'e 3 lander is a good summary of the mission, China's lunar lander set to launch this year and become the first...anything we've landed on the moon since the 1970s. This mission is one I am particularly looking forward to as a test of whether being jaded with the moon has to do with simple textbook and media spin (that we've been there, done that already) or the lack of a connection with the surface, where exploring is traditionally done.

We'll find out which is true within a few weeks of landing, assuming that images are provided with enough frequency.
