Windows 8 now available in Cherokee

Friday, December 28, 2012

Cherokee, a language with one of the most famous and innovative scripts to exist, is now available as a language in Windows 8. Apparently this is the largest translation made in the language since the New Testament in the 19th century.

On a related note, I also changed to Windows 8 two weeks ago. Since I do everything on a 11.6" Asus, hearing that the new OS is much faster than 7 is what won me over, and upon installing and trying it out the rumors are true and it feels as if I had doubled my RAM. Nor do I miss the start button - any program, file or setting can be found by hitting the Windows key and typing out the name. Plus I hated Aero.
