Spanish government wants to aid Chabacano

Still sick today so here's one article in English, according to which the Spanish government wants to help preserve the language Chabacano, a Spanish creole spoken in the Philippines in the city of Zamboanga.

A bit reminiscent of the PVV in the Netherlands wanting to aid Afrikaans but without all the historical baggage and partisanship.
