Number of pages in English, Chinese and Spanish: 9.89 billion, 806 million, 681 million

An article here in Spanish has some interesting numbers on Spanish online. As the third-most common language on the internet there is also a large number of pages in Spanish, with 681 million compared to 806 million for Chinese and 9.89 billion for English with still the most by far.

Another number: the number of people in Latin America with access to the internet has doubled between September 2006 and September 2009, from 15.1% to 30.5%. There is still a lot of room to grow there; the EU is at 65% and Europe as a whole is at 53% for comparison.
