Full eclipse on 11 July can only be seen over the Pacific...or online

Saturday, July 03, 2010

There are nine days left until this year's big solar eclipse, and though it's going to take place in an arc in the south Pacific to the west of South America including Easter Island, apparently there's a team of astronomers on Easter Island that will be making observations and broadcasting them live. You can see the page for the eclipse here (also in Spanish), and general information in English here and Spanish here. And here's the live page itself.
