The Modern Indo-European language revival project seems to get a stronger response from a lot of people than your average IAL project, some of which are:
- professional linguists that bring up subjects like laryngeals and question the authenticity of MIE as a revived language
- Esperantists or others that believe it to be way too difficult
- people that see MIE as some sort of racist project for some reason
- similar to the one just above, people that see it as a disadvantageous language to Estonians, Hungarians, Finns and Basques
But sometimes one runs across a nice objective summary of the project by someone not specifically involved with it, and one of those can be seen here (second post in the thread).
