Ares I-X test flight to happen in under 10 hours

Tuesday, October 27, 2009

And live coverage begins in 6.5 hours from now. The flight will happen in the morning in the US, afternoon in Europe, and evening in Asia, so anybody should be able to watch it unless something like being at work happens to prevent that. You can follow the launch here at spaceflightnow.com.

Google Trends doesn't show any spike of interest yet for the search term, so if it's successful and makes the front page then we should see a lot of surprised people that weren't aware how far the (potential) replacement for the Shuttle has already progressed.
