The official cause of the technical error in Korea's first flight of the Naro (KSLV-I) rocket

Thursday, August 20, 2009

A press conference was held this morning to give the reason behind yesterday's canceled launch at T-7:56. The reason? An error in the software used to monitor the high pressure tank pressure in the automatic sequence. It's going to take about one to three days for the Russian and Korean team to fully go over the problem and analyze it. The article also says that as long as there is no worsening in the weather the launching pad can be maintained as is for about five or six days. No word has been given, but I think they're going to try to get another launch in within that time.
