Neil Baldwin, creator of some of the best NES music in the early 90s (a game called Magician), has a site

I had no idea he would be so easy to track down - see, here's his site. You may not recognize the name Neil Baldwin but if you were an avid gamer in the 80s you'll remember a game called Magician. My favourite tracks for that game are tracks 1, 4 and 12 on that site. The order they appear in the game is actually 12, then 4, then 1 - 12 is from the first town, 4 is the wilderness after you leave the town where you have to get the sunglasses to avoid the heat, and track 1 is from the Lake Town, one of the most haunting parts of the game. Here's a video of the game to give you some idea of what it looked and sounded like - the music for the first town starts at 3:30.

Here's how I found out about his site - I was looking at a video here of the music of Magician, from someone on YouTube that features music from various video games. Reading the comments, and lo and behold, there's a comment from someone that says he's the one that created the music for the game.

...really? So I did a search for the name, and found the site, and luckily it has all the music from the entire game.
