Here's another page from the Gagauz test Wikipedia with some good information, sourced from Moldovan (Romanian) language census data and translated into Gagauz. When not entirely sure about the meaning of a sentence I've assumed a little bit that it says what I assume it says.
Gagauz etnik adı, gagauz dili, dil bilimindä türk dili aylesinin Oguz (Üülen-batı yada batı Hun) koluna baalı. Gagauz dili içinä erken türk dili, bulgarca hem kıpçak dilindän kimi özellikleri alêr. Üzyıllar boyunca devam edän, karşılıklı etnik hem kultura kaynaşmakları sebepinnän, gagauzçada arabça, persça, rusça, rumınca, bulgarca hem başka dillerdän çok alıntı yapılmış.
