Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline from the Turkish Wikipedia: Part 6

Almost no time today.

Time for part 6. Here's part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, and part 5. The disclaimer about the translation is on part 1. Don't forget this is Wikipedia so be sure to double check everything.

BTC Boru Hattı

Gürcistan

Georgia

The economy of Georgia can be regarded as the most mixed up in this region's poverty. No trade can take place in the country without bribery and favoritism. This situation inhibits the provision of economic stability in the country. Ultimately, social and political turmoil continue at full speed.

As Gurcistan does not have a great deal of natural resources, the BTC pipeline going through its lands is extremely important. As mentioned above as well, the agreement made with Azerbaijan to obtain a commission per barrel will be good for a tiny bit of economic ease for Georgia.

Ethnically, Georgia is in the midst of extremely deep problems. On one side it fights with forces allied with South Ossetian separatists, and on the other side it struggles with the Abkhasians.

Yep, no time. I expect to be able to do more tomorrow though.
